| | | Carrion crows and squirrels a shared diet ? I noticed 2 grey squirrells, 2 black squirrells and 4 carrion crows all probing the same area of grass the other day on the way into work and wondered what the shared common ground in their diet was ? |

| | | Re: Carrion crows and squirrels a shared diet ? Very similar is the short answer, although grey squirrel will strip the bark off of trees as well as take eggs, young chicks, and of course nuts, all of which crows will take. The grey and the black squirrel are just the same animal. |

| | | Re: Carrion crows and squirrels a shared diet ? It is quite likely that the squirrels were probing for seeds, nuts or even small fungi and the Carrion crows, being opportunist feeders were taking advantage of the disturbed soil. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
