bird feathers for id.

Hi,i found these feathers just above the tide line on a grassy bank of the bristol channel near the severn bridges.They looked a little unusual so i picked them up to try and get an id.They are approx 125mm or if you prefer inches 5 inch long.

Don't know the id of the feathers but by looking at the blunted ends, I would suggest the bird had been predated. Maybe by a fox.

The feathers were attached together when i found them,you may be correct wild woman.The feathers have the look of wing feathers to me.They have a slight curvature.

Juvenile gull, somthing like Herring Gull.
