| | Can anyone tell me what this might be? Hi
I have been trawling the internet to try and id a bird i saw at work today, but to no avail.
I'm an absolute novice at all this and don't really know where to start so i was hoping someone on here might be able to tell me what family it might belong to.
My office is in a rural location in the NW of England, on the edge of some old industrial land which is now overgrown. It's surrounded by trees, small bushes and ground ivy.
Size: Tiny, looked a bit like a robin but much smaller.
Colour: Rust/auburn brown and seemed to be more or less uniform in colour
Beak: short
It jumped on to the ground in to the ivy before i had chance to take a picture.
Anyone any ideas? |

Gorgeous little bird, wish i could have got a picture. Hope it pays us another visit. |
