kingfishers in staffordshire

Hi I was wondoring if anybody knows where is the best place to see kingfishers in staffordshire? As of yet i have been unsucsesfull in my hunt to find any. please can anybody help?

there is a pair breeding at wolseley bridge w/life trust.

I have only been there the once, this year for the first time, they had a nest so they were in and out all day, in plain view of all the visitors.

Not sure if you've seen the thread called 'Kingfishers on canals?'.

I started that discussion as I have been (what seems to be reliably) informed that there are Kingfisher(s) on the Shropshire Union canal that runs through Staffordshire. Haven't been able to verify myself, as yet, but hoping to later today. Fingers crossed!!

I'll let you know if I have any luck.
