There was reports on the Bird recorders web site that there may have been a ring necked duck at Loch an Eilein South Uist. So off I went today in the search of the holy grail, armed with partner for driving 4x4 and flask of tea. Got excited at Loch Bee as there appeared to be ducks that resembled what I was looking for, see this blurred image, had white on beak.

Then I saw another duck see next blurred image, not sure what that is can anyone help??

When I got to the Loch the ducks were to farway for anyone to see even with glasses, were very noisy I think some Grey lag were other there.
Back at work tomorrow, so next week I am going to get the bus down to loch bee and sit there for 2 hrs without he whom drives and try and get nearer and clearer pictures.
So can anyone tell me what I managed to see from these very blurry images.
