Spotted in the company of Bullfinches and I reckoned it was a Chaffinch but I'm not so sure now.That neck collar just doesn't look right.Might be a trick of the light or pig-ignorance.You judge! Damn bird wouldn't oblige with a side or rear view.

Probably a good idea to double check chaffinches at this time of the year, in case they turn out to be Bramblings... |

Thanks for that,so it wasn't 'PIG' ignorance just plain old ignorance!  .
I guess if it had shown me its rear it might have been a bit simpler.
