What's the seed crop like in breeding area's this year? i ususally hope for a bad one so the birds venture east and we start to see them through winter  |

I've seen some today around London today along with some Redpolls feeding in Larches + Silver Birch. |

We've had them in abundance all spring and summer, but not seen any for about a month.

Its been a good breeding season here in the forests, the seed crops looks high. You should get plenty of scandinavian birds anyway in lincolnshire? been stacks moving through here with lesser and common redpoll in the last two weeks. |
