Angry What is this growing under my bird feeder??
A couple of weeks ago I noticed this grey fungus type thing growing under my feeders

I moved the feeder and it appeared again!!

I washed the feeders, moved them and it appeared again!!

The feeders contain only sunflower hearts with one feeder of fat balls.

Any idea what it is??

Is it something that is harmful to the birds?? It's playing havoc with my lawn

Don't know what it is, but you could try feeding over soil instead of grass; this will allow you to regularly dig and hoe the ground directly under the feeder.
