| | | Re: Birds at Bushy Park Love the Jackdaw pic too! Its such a great spot. I used to walk there quite often when i was at Kingston uni. I remember going there during my first week (many years ago now!) and seeing a rose ringed parakeet. I had no idea about their presence in such parts of greater London (was far less into birding then i am now). I thought it must be someone's pet that had escaped and wondered what action to take! Don't get many of those in my native Cornwall  .I'm not sure what its called but theres a small lake/pond surrounded with weeping willows not far from the palace. I've seen Kingfishers there on two or three occasions so worth a look! Beautiful big carp in there too. |
