That's a Lesser Black-backed Gull (in summer - it would have head streaking now).

Lesser Black-back  - note the yellow legs! Herring Gull has flesh-pink legs and a much paler grey back.

I am sure it's a Lesser black-backed gull. Wing feathers seem too dark for a Herring gull. |

Leg colour and wing colour point to LBB gull. Definitely not a Herring Gull |
