| | | Unidentified bird of prey Hi all,
This bird landed in my garden this afternoon, and I'm not sure what it is. If anyone can shed any light it would be much appreciated!
Many thanks! |

| | | Re: Unidentified bird of prey I could tell you how old this bird is, but I always find its better to find out the finer details one self. Its the best way to learn in my opinion, good luck and enjoy the journey. |

| | Re: Unidentified bird of prey Thanks very much for your kind notes everyone!
accipter - from what I can find out and from the photos I have, it looks to me like she might more orange, than pale yellow eyes, which would lead me to believe that she is an older female. Other information that I found on ageing talks about feathers that I could not easily identify from the pictures I had taken.
Can you confirm or comment on any of this at all? Any help much appreciated!
Thanks,
