bird ID if poss
I looked up and see a finch sized bird light green in colour with what looked like yellow stripes on either side of its tail ( this is from underneath) I didnt recognise the flight song , which is why it drew my attention and sorry i cant describe it. location was open land ( like a park ) in the middle of a rural area about 250 yds from a canal.

It does sound as though it was a Greenfinch.

Yeah thanks guys ... i replayed my bird song cd and everything points to greenfinch.. and also after what u have said.....cheers
