Passage birds will also still be moving through the UK, with sightings possible in most areas until at least mid-October (and a few lingering into November in southern counties). |

| | | Re: Swallows still about Hi Roy  It just must be me then, I've never really notced them this late. Probably not really been looking in the past. Just out of interest though the earliest I've seen them in the year is April 4th this being when I lived in Dorset and here in Wales.

I saw some yesterday heading south (I am in the south) presumably to passport control and beyond.
