| | | sick bird advice please I have a pidgoen that flew into my window and looks like it has a broken wing, i have rung my vets and they are coming to pick it up in the morning, my issue is they have told me to put it into a box over night but they didnt say anything about if it needs food or water and they are closed now, so can anyone tell me what i should do as i feel awful as it is just in a large box in my shed in the moment |

| | | Re: sick bird advice please Put an old towel on the floor of the box, so that it has some purchase. Give it a small steep-sided bowl of water. Also some seeds, if you have it (if not, try crumbs, or damp porridge oats).
Instead of closing the lid on the box, spread some thin white fabric over it, so that it lets some light in. You can use tape to secure it. |
