Hi.
I've just joined this forum today and coincidentally just after I registered I saw a very scruffy looking bird in my back garden feasting on honeysuckle berries but I can't work out what it is. Please could anyone help identify it.
Apologies for the slightly blurry photos, I really need to get a better camera!    |

Thanks for the replies. At first I thought goldfinch but the wing markings aren't right. It could be a young bullfinch because the darker feathers on the wings and tail are in the same position as on an adult bullfinch. |

I'd go for juv Bullfinch too, got a few in my garden, you can just see the start of the black cap on the photos.
