| | | Great tit mimic I was just sat here and from the garden i heard the unmistakeable song of a chiffchaff. bit late i thought so i went out with my bins to have a look. all i could see was a blue tit and a great tit sat in a birch tree, but then i realised that it was the great tit doing the song. I've never known great tits to mimic so well, it was hopping around and calling from the end of the branches, getting the intonation and rhythm of a chiffchaff almost exactly right. Incredible!
