House Martins
Saw a large flock of House Martins just outside Hitchin this morning, obviously it is still warm enough for them, if not for me.

They won't be around for much longer now. I live in Shropshire and saw a flock of around 50 birds early last week, saw one solitary House Martin on thursday I think but all left nowThey might be in Herts!

I was at Ruislip Lido yesterday + there were up to 100 House Martins feeding low over the water (quite a few breed on nearby buildings) + also a few Swallows with them. Certainly not the warmest of days.
