Hi All!!
I'm new to the forum so hope you are all well???
Ok, here goes.
We have fledgling wood pigeon in our garden. He has all adult feathers and only a small amount of fluff showing through. The parents are no where to be seen and there are no nest sights at all. He cannot fly yet though he is trying, but not very succesful at all.....
He is preening, flapping, eating and drinking by himself. We have built him a shelter which is off the ground, a ramp leading up to it and a purch inside and he is using this and has been with us for a week now.
My questions are:
We are just puuting out normal wild bird food (we use this anyway for other birds) is this ok for him?
The worst is that other adult pigeons are landing on top of him and attacking him, how we dter this?
Many Thanks,
Tortoise!
