| | | Sparrowhawk getting it's own back. Hi,
I've just been out in the garden and heard a hooded crow squaking frantically. When i looked up i saw a sparrowhawk chasing the lone hoodie. Usually i see the sparrowhawk being mobbed by three or four hoodies but this time the sparrowhawk was doing the chasing. The hoodie landed in a tree at the top of my garden for cover and the hawk landed on top of my house. After 3 or 4 minutes the hoddie made a break for it but the hawk went straight for it chasing it off up the hill. I suppose the hawk was getting it's own back for all the mobbings it's had when the hoodies have out numbered it. It was good to watch and i couldn't help smiling and thinking the hoodie was getting it's just desserts.
cheers
