| | | please help hello my name is sparrow 1 and i was wondering if anyone could help with a problem. We used to have lots of birds come into our garden and use the bird feeder they have stopped comming and i suspect its something to do with a pigeon who keeps on eating from the bird feeder. The bird feeder is situated near a bin so he just steps on the bin and eats the food. Can anyone tell me what to do if i want the other birds to come back.
Thanks sparrow 1 |

Screen off the feeder with some 11/2" chicken wire

| | | Re: please help don't think the pigeon is the problem! most birds would ignore it ,try resighting the feeder ,perhaps under a bit more cover ,it'll make the smaller birds feel safer. you don't mention what kind of birds visit the feeder , that would help !!

Even the gulls have left some stale soggy bread alone for 3-4 days! |

| | | Re: please help every morning at 7 am just after i put out the feed on the tables my old mate woody pigeon his them followed by the coll doves and a magpie, i rekon that by 10am i have no feed left on the tables. My point is that the little ones come down on the hanging feeders while hes there.
I have moved my feeder station several times before i got the best position.. so give that a try |
