From left to right,
Sanderling
Cormorant
ringed plover
turnstone
and
turnstone
Cheers David
Sorry cormorant should be shag. I was taking more notice of the waders and didn't really look at this one properly!

| | | Re: can anyone help with id's for these 4 seabirds Hi I would suggest, from left to right, sanderling, shag, ringed plover and turnstone (last two pics). Waders, the sanderling, ringed plover and turnstone, can be notoriously difficult, especially in moult and various stages of maturity. Nice selection of pics. |

| | | Re: can anyone help with id's for these 4 seabirds The 'shag' does look a bit delicate but I think the gular patch and white colouring are a bit too extensive and favour cormorant. I'm not 100% on that image though. |

To me a shag is just a remote possibility

| | | Re: can anyone help with id's for these 4 seabirds The 'shag' is a juvenile Cormorant. (Shags have a very different head shape with rounded head\steep forehead unlike Cormorants which have smooth sloping forehead with highest point at rear crown as can be seen in photo.).
juvenile shag here: http://www.birdforum.net/attachment....8&d=1259520186
Juvenile Cormorants often show a slimmer bill than adults.
