They do breed up there, but arent seen that easily/often, Ben Macdui has them too, just a little further on, on the rocky slopes.

| | | Re: High altitude Bird Thanks Ken.Wasn't sure and didn't expect to see it sittin' there looking at me as if I was daft,which at that point wasn't too far off the mark. You know, a lot of people refer to that side of Ben Nevis as a stroll but for an old fart it's as extreme as I care to think about. If I'd been a little less knacked and the bird had been a little bit lower I'd have made a better job of it.
