My neighbour has been keeping an eye on the few Rowan trees nearby and has
noticed that, just now. the birds seem to eating the green unripe berries and completely
ignoring the red ones. I looked at one tree and it did seem that only red berries
remained.
I've looked around the internet but cant seem to find an answer. I was just
about to start my schpiel about Thrushes,Waxwings and Redwings when he
cut me short since the only birds we get in numbers in the street are starlings
and later.when strvation looms,some blackbirds!
Has anyone else noticed this with their rowan berries??!!
