| | | Red Kite roosts in the Chilterns Hey everyone,
I'm a Zoology undergraduate at the University of Reading, near the Chilterns, and I'm studying Red Kites as urban birds for my dissertation. To complete my research I'm hoping to acquire some local Red Kite pellets. I would never disturb a Red Kite roost site whilst birds are roosting, however I'm having enormous difficulty determining how to get any pellets for my research and would appreciate any help anyone could give me, either who to contact or where any Chilterns roosts are.
Many thanks! |

| | | Re: Red Kite roosts in the Chilterns I can not help you much here, the problem you have here is kites are highly protected, the only thing I can suggest is phone your local radio station or put a ad in the local paper maybe same one local finds them in there gardens as many people do feed them.
