White Pigeons - What's the deal??
This might possibly be the stupidest question ever, but, here it goes.

I keep seeing white pigeons, sometimes just one knocking about with 'normal' pigeons, and sometimes in a flock full of white pigeons.

I've looked in my books but can't see any info. Anyone help me out?

Hi,

I was reading about pigeons ages ago and the book mentioned that feral pigeons we see in cities are hugely variable in their plumage. This is because they were domesticated and bred into many varities over time. Or something like that, anyway. Sorry if I'm wrong.

They are not wild birds but Feral pigeons/Domestic doves
