| | | vanishing birds Where have the birds gone! I live in Bagshot with woods at end of garden, so many different varieties of birds normally. Now all I see is magpies, jackdaws and robins plus the canada geese that visit a lake nearby. |

| | | Re: vanishing birds A lot of woodland birds will now be moving round in roving flocks, so sometimes you encounter a large mixed flock, other times it can be eerily quiet. Also many of the summer visitors are now moving south, so many of the warblers, etc will be disappearing.
