March bird to i.d.
I have put up a couple of pictures on the forum since I joined a fortnight ago and have been really grateful for people's help with them. I have therefore dug into my archive and retrieved an old pic - taken this March in a deciduous wood by a river - to see if you can help identify it. I have it as a dunnock, but my friend disagrees and thinks it is some type of warbler.

yes dunnock for me , and march would be a little early for warblers, i would think. rossy.

Although, some years ago, in two separate areas of East London. I heard Chiffchaffs on February 9th.

Chiffchaffs and Blackcaps winter in good enough numbers, but this bird is a Dunnock.

Its a Dunnock for myself too ,have quite a few about the garden at the moment
