| | | female redstart in garden all day just wondering how common the female redstarts are in stafford,i have lots of goldfinches and other stuff visiting my garden feeding station but today i have had a female redstart hanging aroung quite alot, just spotted it again in the front garden at 18.55..
Am i lucky or these pretty common, and is there likely to be a male knocking about?
Thanks Gary |

| | Re: female redstart in garden all day This will be a bird on passage. Over the last month there have been quite a few around London + at least a handful today. Sometimes these migrants are seen briefly, other times they may hang about for a few days.
Enjoy your Redstart- possibly on her own, but always the chance of another. |
