| | | Male Linnet Hi
Haven't been here for a while thought I would share an image of a male Linnet sat on a gauze bush. Gotta love these little birds. Shame they are in decline..

| | | Re: Male Linnet Great shot! I've found a spot which is very reliable for seeing these birds, though its very difficult to get a good photo as they're very wary. i'll persevere though!!!

| | | Re: Male Linnet beautiful shot!
If you want a garunteed spot for Linnet then Landguard Nature Reserve next to Felixstowe in Suffolk. They nest here every year in good numbers so it'd be impossible not to see them! |

| | | Re: Male Linnet What a cracking picture well done... I remember a time when you could walk down a local hedge row and seem to come across a Linnets nest or Dunnock or any of the common hedge row bird every few steps.... Now a main road and supermarkets... ho hum... Still look down the road and smile fondly |
