Nice images.

They are certainally found in good numbers here. They breed in areas of gorse scrub or heath and winter in more coastal areas. The condition of hedgerows is what we think affects our local populations more than anything. They are one species which doesnt seem to be affected by actual crop species or land use. They will feed on autumn sown rape or on improved grassland with low plant diversity. However over cut hedges really make a difference.
