Hooray for the weekend

I dont know about anyone else but ive long and difficult week at work

but i'm happy

the weekends apon us, so im packing my family and binoculars into the car and heading up to kielder for weekend to unwind

Whats everyone else up to this weekend and most importatant where are you heading to to do a bit of birding and what do you hope to see.

Gardening for me this weekend, hope the robin comes down for some worms when I turn the soil over, and it is time to pick the apples and turn them into cider.

I'm going to Epping Forest to do a walk, I don't have binoculars yet (some coming in the mail!) but maybe I'll see some interesting birds anyway.

Per usual wandering around Hole-in-the-Wall on the banks of the River Wye where a kingfisher has just moved in or returned after nearly a year absence.
