| | gull id with photos (maybe) PLease can someone confirm this is Black headed gull not med.
I am trying to get to grips with gulls and find them really difficult.

I'd'v said black headed but someone far better will hopefully tell us right |

Med gulls when adult have white wing tips, so if you look near the tail you can see that the wing tips are black, making this a BHG.
There are other differences, but this is the best way I have found to quickly sort out BHG from other species. |
