After everyone being so helpful on my last post I thought I would try to get help solving this pipit poser. I took this photo on Anglesey at the start of August. There don't seem to be any records of Tree Pipits on Anglesey, so I suppose it must be a Meadow. But I am not so sure. Help appreciated.  |

not so good on little brown jobs but it looks like a meadow to me too. if you would really like a challenge try warbles, my head hurts already. |

Definitely Meadow Pipit. I have many very bad photo's of them since I've been in this part of the world, they are very common all about N. Wales, but very little sign of Tree Pipits.

Tree pipits sound different. Sounds is the best form of identification in the field in my experiences. For all the hundreds of Meadow pipits you encounter you will come across a few Tree pipits too but without hearing them you will probably not notice. | | |
