| | | Re: look at these beauties I work on a large motorway bridge,we get many nesting birds amongst the steel girders and on the gantries,others include collared doves,jackdaws,ravens (this year).Peregrines at roost.We accidentally disturbed a roosting peregrine on a night shift a few weeks back while driving a gantry.It flew down and landed at my work mates feet after being caught in the lights,it gathered itself together and flew off.He was in awe of it  . |

| | | Re: look at these beauties Thanks Deb  .I have a photo of their mum somewhere,they do end up with very nice plumage.Ill find mummy beautie  .I dont know why they bother trying to build a nest though,if you can call a few bits of straw a nest.

| | | Re: look at these beauties 'Ere, they might be just a few bits of straw to you but that's home for them pigeons!  Some of us birds only 'ave burrows underground wiv a few bits of grass and the odd pretty pink flower for decoration!
