She was on holiday in Yorkshire and when she was walking on the moors she disturbed a bird which then took flight. She said it gave an alarm call as if it was a ground nesting bird and she was near its nest. The same thing happened on her way back.This was two weeks ago and she is not 100% sure on the sound now.
Although the photos aren't clear I thought someone might be able to identify it from wing shape and habitat. |
