| | | Collective nouns of birds My boys and I took one last drive towards Kilchoan on the Ardnamurchan Peninsula on Sunday before turning and starting the long drive home when we spotted this group of Ravens lined up along the fence:
I used a well known search engine to find the collective noun for ravens and came up with a few: murder, unkindness, conspiracy, and my favourite for this particular photo, a storytelling of ravens.
I wonder if anyone else has any photos of collections of birds with appropriate (or even outrageous) collective nouns.... |

So depending what source you use, you could have a parliament of rooks or a parliament of owls, or a murder of crows or rooks or ravens! But there are some really good ones, and I guess you could just as easily concoct your own I hope there's some photos from WABbers to go with them
