| | | Shelduck??? Hello, today at attenborough NR was a tame (ish) shelduck. at least thats what i think it was, everything seems to be right about it except two things.
1) it seemed quite small
2) it wasn't hundreds of metres away, which is usually the only way i experience Tadorna tadorna, this one was amongst all the other tame waterfowl getting fed by people near the visitor centre.
opinions???

| | | Re: Shelduck??? thats what i thought, you get a few every now and again at the reserve but they stay distant. i'd just wondered that day whether i'd see any, then on my way to the loo at the visitor centre i saw this!
