| | | Feather ID please Does anyone have any idea what bird this feather is from? (Presuming I manaage to attach the photo!)
I found it on the top of a moorland hill in a very remote location so I presume it is from a flyover. |

I found it a few weeks ago but the books I have and what I have been able to find on the internet only show mainly flight and tail feathers so I really had no idea and had actually been thinking of perhaps geese flying over.
Both Golden Eagle and Buzzard are occasionally in the area so that would make sense.
Would Sea Eagle also be a possible candidate? |

| | | Re: Feather ID please Can't say what it IS, but the colouring, that of a chestnut brown would suggest it isn't an eagle.
