| | | Female Kestrel & Red Kite Yesterday (Sunday), I was in Turville & Ibstone doing a bit of sight seeing before heading back to the 80's Rewind Festival in Henley.
I was hoping to see some Red Kites.
Not only did I see some, I managed to get my first ever pictures of this beautiful bird & a Female Kestrel aswell!!

| | | Re: Female Kestrel & Red Kite Your 1st picture is always special. Glad you managed to see and photograph one.
I have yet to photograph a kestrel perched like that as they always see me coming
On one occasion I saw a kestrel perched and didn't bother getting my camera out as I knew it would fly away. It DIDN'T. I got within 6feet of it before it flew |
