I'll stick my neck out and say a wet female Tufted Duck, but it'll probably turn out to be an immature Scaup knowing me.

I was just wondering if it might in fact be a female ferrugenous (spelling?) duck. I`m no duck expert but this was the first thing that came to mind. |

It's a Tufted Duck, but doesn't have as much black on the bill tip as might usually be expected. |

I think it is a male Tufted Duck in summer plumage.
