| | | fulmar nesting in herring gulls nest a herring gull put a lot of effort into building a large nest on cliffs i visit a couple of years ago,as soon as the nest was completed a fulmar moved in and wouldnt budge for the herring gull, http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d9...er/fulmar1.jpg
the following year the gull repaired the nest prior to the breeding season and the same thing happened, this year the gull has learn,t its lesson and has ignored repairing the nest and its looking a bit disheveled, but the fulmars have reared their first chick in it http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d9...ulmarchick.jpg
im just wondering if the chick will be happy to rear its future famiy on a bare ledge when it becomes an adult after being reared in such a warm and free home | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
