| | | swallow fledgling I have swallows nesting in my stable block and one of the fledglings appeared on the floor last Sunday. I picked it up and put it back in one of the nests. It stayed there until Wednesday and then appeared on the ground again. Despite my best attempts to get it off the ground it is stubbornly determined to stay there.
Its parents are feeding it but today I noticed its siblings are all flying. Can it learn to fly from the ground or should I keep trying to put it back up higher? |
