| | | Rspb I have now received my packs from the likes of RSPB, Wetlands, NT etc.
Each of them came with a car sticker and I have applied the NT one to my car window for entry purposes.
However I am sure someone mentioned the other day about it not being wise to attach the RSPB one as it could demonstrate that you may have equipment.
Do you think that is true or a little over dramatic? I'd like to put it on but not if it singles me out. What doi you think?

What doi you think? | I wouldnt worry about it mate - after all you drive a merc , thats tantamount to having a flashing neon sign on the roof saying "rich person , please rob" - I very much doubt that having a small rspb car sticker will add much risk

| | | Re: Rspb But do you think they're are more likely to target you in a car park just because you have a sticker?
If you are in an RSPB car park, surely you could assume most participants would have binos etc.
In Asda surely it makes no difference, and at home surely it would be safe to assume that the car would be empty.
I want to show my support but now I am wary

If you're on a reserve, it's a risk that you take with or without stickers. I have several stickers in my car-nothing has occurred (yet) but I think wherever you are nowadays if it happens it happens. Our son's car stereo was nicked outside our house, under a lamplight, before 12 at night.
Just be well insured.

| | | Re: Rspb As long as you dont have a sticker saying " Classic leica owners club" or " 8 out of ten owners prefer zeiss bins" you should be ok? not that your average chav would know a pair of leica from a fake burberry cased pair of plastic bins from poundland?
Id go with the sticker...I have the wildlife trust one on my car and when i can find them ( after house move) will add my rspb ones etc. |
