What's this bird?
This bird is about as large as a pigion but thinner and with a longer neck. It is living in shallow, fast running water under a small bridge (the pictures are very dark). It has a distictive black stipe under its tail. It is a tail wagger. Does anyone know what it is please?

Your under bridge dweller is a Moorhen. (Non-breeding adult)

Thank you. It does have a moorhen tail! Never seen one not black with red before
