| | | ID needed for eggshell please! I found this white eggshell on the lawn near dense shrubbery, but no sign of nest. I think from the neat serrated opening it was opened from the inside by the occupant, rather than raided from a nest? Can anyone identify? Our most common birds are starlings, collared doves, woodpigeons, blackbirds, thrush plus assorted of sparrow size and smaller which I think wouldn't lay an egg of this size? |
