Male and female Linnet?
This was as close as they would allow me to get. If I moved forward they would leap-frog each other along the fence! 
Female Skylark?
I was definitely seen as an intruder by this one!   |

Hello Jennie. The ones on the fence appear to be Linnets, the male having the reddish colouration on him; the one on the ground I would reckon is a Meadow Pipit.

Agree with Jonners. linnets for the first pic and a pipit for the other 2, most likely a meadow pipit. |

Yep, sounds like typical linnet behaviour, i almost always encounter them in pairs in the summer months. Agreed with the Mipit too!!!
