Winter in the Garden..

Hello to you all.
Newbie here, just found the delight of Garden birds and have set up a birdie take away in both back and front gardens, we are attracting many varietes of the little un's (H/T Sparrows, Tit's,Finches,Collared Doves etc) and have gained some fantastic knowledge from this forum so far to which I thank all who have posted and replied.
But winter will be here soon and although i know what to feed the little un's, it is protecting them from the cold and bad weather that is concerning me, will they nest in boxes if i build the.
If I only help a few then next year maybe more will come, any help will be gratefully welcomed....

welcome shaunyem , go for it, put up a box or boxes , depending on the size of your garden, as birds become terrortorial during breeding season, and will require a bit of space, maybe they will roost in them over the winter, patience is needed , and they might not nest , but then again you may be lucky, good luck, for next year, rossy.
