Just wondered if anybody could help id this fella (or fellarette!)?
Taken in spring this year in woodland in Staffordshire / Shropshire region.

| | | Re: Bird I.D. Please? I think its some sort of warbler, maybe a willow or chiffchaff. In the first photo I think because its looking down, the shadow is making its head look darker (its the same under the wings too)

| | | Re: Bird I.D. Please? Can speculate on this for ever and never will know. Early spring on ash, in the open, with a blueish head, more likey to be chaffinch than anything else so I will stick at that.
