| | | Normal jackdaw behaviour?
Had 2 jackdaws on my bird table today. One only slightly bigger than the other. The smaller one was making a heck of a noise standing there with it's beak open. The other one was picking up the bread and feeding it, and this continued till all the food had gone. Would this be an adult feeding a young one, though it looked almost fully grown? Great to watch though, I must admit! |

Yes sounds like an adult feeding young. Alot of this about at the moment, ive seen alot of carrion crows doing it today. |

Great to watch though, I must admit! | We have a variation they bring bread from elsewhere and dip it in the pond or birdbaths before feeding it to the youngsters. This started with Magpies but now all the local Corvids do it
