| | | A Very Strange Looking Dunnock
This Dunnock has been around my garden for the past week or so. As you can see it has lost all the feathers on it's head.I have never seen anything like this.
I would welcome any comments or suggestions.

I have heard many suggestions,such as abnormal moults with all the head feathers being lost at once,to lice and nutritional deficiencies.It does appear to be quite frequent though.

there have been lots of threads about blackbirds over the years like this, but never seen a dunnock like this..
Helpfully he will be OK when his dignity grows back..lol |
